Job summary

Romac is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to support design, development, testing, and improvement of products and manufacturing processes under experienced engineers.

The role involves analyzing designs, troubleshooting, creating documentation, and assisting with production procedures. Hours are Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm, base pay $36.83-$55.29 per hour with annual pay updates and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
• Strong project management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools

Responsibilities

• With oversight and direction, work on simple assemblies or on tasks in support of larger engineering projects.
• With oversight and direction, help to resolve production issues.
• Perform assigned research and development tasks on new products.
• In support of developing quality expectations, create documentation and perform follow-up audits.
• With oversight and direction, establish production procedures, work instructions, QA matrices, and bills of materials.
