Job summary

Romac is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to support design, development, testing, and improvement of products and manufacturing processes under experienced engineers.

The role involves analyzing designs, troubleshooting, creating documentation, and assisting with production procedures. Hours are Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm, base pay $36.83-$55.29 per hour with annual pay updates and a comprehensive benefits package.

Job description

This position applies basic engineering principles to support the design, development, testing, and improvement of products and manufacturing processes. You’ll work under the guidance of experienced engineers on well-defined projects and tasks, helping analyze and validate designs, troubleshoot issues, refine processes, and develop new or improved products, equipment, and testing methods. You’ll also provide technical support to production and contribute to feasibility studies and other engineering projects.

Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• 1+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
• Strong project management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills with people at all levels of the organization
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools

Base Compensation Range:

$36.83-$55.29 per hour. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity. Our salary ranges are reviewed and updated each year and employees are eligible for pay increases based on individual performance.
