Romac Industries, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Project Manager II to lead complex, high-impact projects from planning through successful delivery.

You will guide cross-functional teams, including senior leaders, to translate business goals into results and shape Romac’s continued success. In this role you will manage scope, schedules, budgets, and risks, while applying formal project management methodologies to ensure projects finish on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in project management.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Proven ability to complete complex, risky, large, and ambiguous projects.
• Proven proficiency in formal project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, high-priority, high-complexity projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Manage risks, issues, and changes with proactive mitigation to deliver on time and on budget.
• Lead cross-functional teams with effective communication and collaboration.
