Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for our commercial projects in Gardena, CA. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing complex mechanical solutions with a strong emphasis on HVAC and plumbing systems.

You will use AutoCAD, Trace 700, Revit, and SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models and drawings, and collaborate with Architects, Contractors, and Engineers to ensure seamless integration. PE certification is a plus and 2+ years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree considered an advantage.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar construction role.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Trace 700, Revit and SolidWorks.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC or plumbing systems.
• PE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems for construction projects ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Use AutoCAD, Trace 700, Revit, SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems for quality and timeliness.
• Conduct tests on mechanical systems to assess functionality and efficiency, making adjustments as needed.
• Provide expert guidance on HVAC and plumbing aspects of mechanical engineering.
