Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team on commercial construction projects. You will design, develop, and implement complex mechanical systems, collaborating with architects, contractors, and engineers to ensure seamless integration across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, 2+ years in a similar role, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Trace 700, Revit, and SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Trace 700, Revit, and SolidWorks.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including HVAC or plumbing systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems for construction projects, ensuring designs meet project requirements and comply with regulations.
• Use AutoCAD, Trace 700, Revit, SolidWorks to create 3D models and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers for seamless integration of mechanical systems.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems to high standards and timelines.
• Conduct tests to assess functionality and efficiency; make adjustments as needed.
• Provide expert guidance on HVAC and plumbing aspects of mechanical engineering.
