TES Engineering in Westlake, OH seeks a Mechanical Engineer—Experienced or Entry-Level to join our mechanical engineering department. Responsibilities include HVAC load calculations, equipment selections, air distribution and hydronic design, and ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

The ideal candidate will have a BSME, strong AutoCAD proficiency, and preferably Revit experience. PE designation is preferred; compensation reflects experience.

Qualifications

• BSME degree required or equivalent.
• 2+ years preferred for HVAC/building mechanical design
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency; Revit preferred; CAD drafting experience

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC load calculations and equipment selections for commercial buildings.
• Design air distribution and hydronic systems for HVAC
• Research and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and standards
• Prepare mechanical specifications for HVAC systems and drawings
• Proficient use of CAD and Revit for mechanical documents
• Coordinate with project managers, project engineers, and field foremen during design and construction
