Actalent is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to focus on mechanical design and applications engineering for equipment interfacing with OEM chassis. You will create detailed drawings, schematics, and BOMs, support production, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver manufacturable solutions that meet customer requirements.

This role offers hands-on experience for recent graduates seeking to build a strong engineering resume in a manufacturing environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Mechanical design experience, including exposure to design-for-production principles.
• Experience with bills of materials in engineering or manufacturing.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or similar).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD for drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of GD&T and mechanical drawings.
• MS Office suite proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong Excel skills and data handling.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.
• Independent work approach with reliability and punctuality.

Mansioni

• Perform applications engineering: detailed drawings, schematics, BOMs, and documentation.
• Create electrical/hydraulic schematics interfacing in-house equipment with OEM chassis.
• Analyze customer requirements and coordinate with internal teams for solutions.
• Present design solutions and technical recommendations to customers.
• Communicate requirements to internal teams and troubleshoot during design/production.
• Provide product support and leverage other technical staff as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement of design, docs, and processes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing for production-optimized designs.
• Maintain accurate bills of materials for procurement and lifecycle management.
• Work in a team-based environment and represent engineering professionally.
