Actalent is seeking a seasoned mechanical design engineer to design custom automated equipment and assembly machines from concept to manufacturing-ready detail. You will validate designs with SolidWorks and FEA, ensuring optimal mechanical performance and manufacturability.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to define project scope, then support machine builds, assembly, and on-site troubleshooting to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires at least five years of machine design experience, SolidWorks experience, experience designing automated equipment or machines, and FEA experience.
• An engineering degree, project management experience, and customer-facing experience are additional qualifications.

Responsabilités

• Design custom automated equipment and assembly machines from concept through detailed, manufacturable designs, using SolidWorks and FEA to validate and optimize mechanical performance.
• Work with customers and internal teams to define and deliver projects, while supporting machine builds, assembly, and troubleshooting on the shop floor.
