Job summary

Bass Cat is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and test mechanical and electromechanical systems across the full product lifecycle. You will develop components, oversee installation and maintenance, and liaise with suppliers to ensure quality and compliance.

Strong CAD/CAM, FEA/CFD, and data analysis skills are essential. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on experience with CAD tools and simulation software.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in mechanical engineering.
• Hands-on experience with PLM, FEA and CFD.
• Strong CAD/CAM software knowledge and drafting skills.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, ProE or similar tools.
• Knowledge of engineering analysis tools such as ANSYS or similar.
• Mathematical computing and analysis tools such as MATLAB, Excel, LabVIEW.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical and electromechanical systems by developing and testing specifications.
• Plan and design tools, engines, machines, and other equipment across full lifecycle product development.
• Oversee installation, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Develop and test manufacturing processes and assembly methods.
• Write programs and manage data to maintain system databases.
• Present designs and test results to managers and clients.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain product quality.
