Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Mechatronics or closely related field.
• Understand and troubleshoot control voltage and line voltage.
• Understand and utilize industry electrical prints.
• Effective PLC maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Understands Vacuum theory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow written instructions.
• Follow diagrams and manufacturing instructions; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Familiarity with SPC, HACCP, GMP, SSOP and USDA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze designs, run simulations and test how the equipment functions post-repairs and system manipulation.
• Analyze, diagnose, and recommend solutions for mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures on equipment.
• Monitor, diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform timely repairs on equipment including conveyors, sensors, safety guards, elevators and catwalks.
• Interpret work orders and specifications to determine maintenance or replacement needs.
• Carry out routine inspections following SOPs and checklists for optimal performance.
• Review blueprints to ensure projects meet test specs and objectives.
• Research, produce, and assemble mechanical parts for production machinery.
• Investigate failures to identify corrective actions using detailed diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Design/ redesign, assemble/ disassemble, install/ transport industrial equipment using CAD and prototyping.
• Follow Butterball safety policies and communicate with plant operations to ensure safe, efficient machinery operation.
