Job summary

Armitage Architecture Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support federal construction projects, including infrastructure and government facilities. You will design, analyze, and ensure compliance of mechanical systems, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams on-site in Las Vegas, NV.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 3–7 years of experience, and pursuing EIT/PE. CAD and modeling (AutoCAD, Revit) are essential; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of relevant experience.
• Pursuing EIT or PE license.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and implementation of mechanical systems for federal projects (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
• Perform calculations, modeling, and evaluations for system design and efficiency.
• Support project planning and coordination ensuring adherence to federal standards.
• Conduct site inspections and assist in troubleshooting during construction.
• Collaborate with architecture, civil, electrical, and structural engineers.
• Prepare technical documentation, drawings, specifications, reports, and compliance materials.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, procurement guidelines).
