Job summary

SpecSys is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to perform mechanical design work for mobile equipment, including structural, fluid power, and powertrain systems. You will select components, perform CAD design, and generate BOMs and manuals.

You will collaborate with other engineering disciplines, manufacturing, and project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget, done right, done safely. Strong candidates have FEA, hydraulics, and structural analysis experience.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in engineering (agriculture/mechanical/electrical/aerospace) required.
• 1+ years of project experience or equivalent.
• Experience with FEA, hydraulics, and structural analysis preferred.
• Ability to interact with Manufacturing Operations, Sales, Clients, and Quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design for mobile equipment including structural, fluid power, and powertrain systems; component selection; CAD design; BOMs; and manuals.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and manufacturing along with project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget, done-right, done-safely project delivery.
