Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Mechanical Engineer for our College Station facility to drive the planning and execution of major mechanical, piping, HVAC, and utility systems. You will coordinate with project managers, designers, vendors, and internal partners to deliver world‑class infrastructure from concept through close‑out.

You will oversee design development, prepare bid documents, and ensure schedule and budget adherence while maintaining safety and quality standards on a hands‑on construction site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience with design and build of large commercial or industrial-type projects.
• Experience with mechanical/process piping, HVAC system design and/or project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team of engineers, consultants, and contractors through EPC processes.
• Manage design, development, and issuance of drawings, specs, and reports for large facilities.
• Lead or contribute to HVAC system design for office, warehouse, and industrial spaces.
