Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design castings, plastic parts, and stampings for EV chargers and inverters. You will support DFMEA, analyze thermal/CFD/structural aspects, and create BOMs with production drawings.

The role requires a solid background in mechanical design, 3D CAD tools, GD&T, and familiarity with high-voltage safety standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components such as castings, plastic molded parts, stampings for Inverter, EV chargers etc.
• Support DFMEA and root cause analysis
• Understand thermal, CFD, structural simulations
• Create BOMs and review/release 2D/3D production drawings
• Test prototypes for vibration, thermal limits, and environmental durability
