Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas, a leader in power and thermal management, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design components for Inverter and EV charging systems. You will create 3D CAD models, support DFMEA, and run thermal, CFD, and structural analyses as part of cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include BOM creation, release of 2D/3D production drawings, and prototype testing for vibration and environmental durability to ensure robust product performance across industrial applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience with 3D CAD tools such as Creo or SolidWorks.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
  • Knowledge of electronic component manufacturing (PCB etc).

Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical components such as castings, plastic molded parts, stampings for Inverter, EV chargers etc
  • Support DFMEA and root cause analysis
  • Be able to support and understand thermal, CFD, structural simulations.
  • Create bills of materials (BOMs) and review/release 2D/3D production drawings
  • Test prototypes for vibration, thermal limits, and environmental durability

Requirements & Skills

  • Knowledge of electronic component manufacturing (PCB etc)
  • Familiarity with lightweight materials and high-voltage safety standards.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
