Job Description

• Looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with 5 - 8 years of experience to support the design and development of EV battery pack components and systems.
• The role involves mechanical design ownership, CAD modeling using CATIA V6, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to support products from concept through production.
• Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for EV battery packs (modules, enclosures, brackets, structural parts)
• Create parametric 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using CATIA V6
• Apply GD&T and ensure drawings meet engineering and manufacturing standards
• Support prototype builds, testing, and design validation activities
• Work with electrical, thermal, manufacturing, and quality teams for system integration
• Good knowledge about GD&T, Tolerance stackup & DFMEA.
• Ensure designs meet DFM/DFA and manufacturability requirements
• Support design changes, documentation, and BOM maintenance
• Participate in design reviews and implement improvements based on feedback
• Requirements: Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical /Automotive Engineering
• 5 - 8 years of experience in mechanical design
• Strong hands‑on experience with CATIA V6
• Experience in EV / Battery / Automotive domain
