Marvin Composites in Fargo, ND is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and implement improvements for custom equipment that produces our window frame components. You will lead projects to boost performance, reliability, and efficiency while collaborating across teams to solve mechanical challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, required.
• Mechanical proficiency and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and adaptability skills: essential for effective collaboration and responding effectively to changing project needs.
• Beneficial: Experience in machine design.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement improvements to existing equipment and systems to enhance performance, reliability, and safety.
• Collaborate with plant personnel to gather insights, diagnose issues, and determine root causes of equipment challenges.
• Lead projects focused on problem-solving and optimization, including mechanical adjustments and redesigns.
• Design mechanical components, subassemblies, and custom equipment solutions to support improvements across our manufacturing lines.
• Use 3D modeling, prototyping, and hands‑on testing to evaluate proposed changes and confirm effectiveness.
• Respond to shifting priorities and equipment failures to help minimize downtime and keep production moving.
