Job summary

Marvin Composites is hiring a Mechanical Engineer Intern for our Fargo, ND plant. You will work with the Manufacturing Engineering group on projects involving custom equipment, gaining hands‑on exposure to mechanical design, project management, and fabrication.

You'll lead projects from CAD design to fabrication and installation, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver practical, impactful solutions and documentation for production integration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering (Sophomore or Junior preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills are required.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from design to fabrication and installation using CAD tools.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to develop integrated solutions.
• Contribute engineering expertise to create innovative products in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Assist in designing and implementing new equipment and processes to improve efficiency.
• Manage project scope, timelines and milestones and document outcomes for production integration.
