Job summary

engineeringjobs.net, Inc. develops and integrates mechanical and structural designs for lithium-ion battery packs used in electric and hybrid-electric aircraft. You will create CAD models, define interfaces to aircraft structures, and lead packaging efforts.

You will define requirements and test plans, oversee supplier development, and review engineering artifacts, contributing to certification, production readiness, and industrialization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• At least five years of experience designing EV lithium battery packs.
• Experience with high-voltage, large-capacity packs (400V+ and 50kWh+).
• Experience with component specification and procurement, qualification and testing, and thermal runaway containment.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks.

• Develop and integrate mechanical and structural designs for lithium-ion battery packs and related interfaces.
