Mechanical Engineer - EI

Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical designs in support of Buildings projects, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, whole building energy modeling, and sustainability requirements reporting.
- Coordinate with other support disciplines and regional offices.
- Assist project managers in project management.
- Follow quality assurance and quality control plans.
- Travel periodically to project sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus from an ABET accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 3 years of building design and construction industry experience.
- Knowledge base of mechanical engineering principals related to building mechanical designs.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with Autodesk Revit.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD.
- Experience with Carrier HAP or similar HVAC load analysis program.
- Experience with AIA MasterSpec.
