Job summary

engineeringjobs.net, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop building systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, energy modeling, and sustainability reporting.

You will coordinate with disciplines and regional offices, support project managers, and follow quality plans while traveling to project sites. The ideal candidate holds a ABET-accredited degree, 3+ years of experience, passes the FE exam, and has strong communication skills with proficiency in Revit and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or ABET-accredited architectural engineering.
• 3+ years of building design and construction experience.
• Passed FE exam.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, and AIA MasterSpec experience preferred.

Job description

Develop mechanical designs for building projects, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, energy modeling, and sustainability reporting. Coordinate with other disciplines and regional offices, support project managers, follow quality plans, and travel periodically to project sites.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or mechanically focused architectural engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, at least three years of building design and construction experience, and a passed Fundamentals of Engineering exam. Candidates must have building mechanical design knowledge, strong communication skills, experience with Autodesk Revit, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, and AIA MasterSpec experience are preferred.
