Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
4–7+ years of relevant experience.
Professional Engineer licensure preferred.
Extensive knowledge of mechanical principles and practices.
Advanced proficiency in mechanical engineering software and tools.
Ability to interpret and create technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Strong knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices.

Responsibilities

Perform equipment sizing and selection, alternative analyses and other deliverables.
Support the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities.
Present engineering and design deliverables to project members, cross-functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project reporting and schedule requirements.
Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule.
Support proposal efforts by evaluating RFP scope, identifying list of deliverables and estimating effort required.
Work is highly independent.
Prepares, reviews, and approves electrical equipment, conduit, and wiring calculations, requisitions, lists, studies, reports, BOMs, and designs.
