We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Equipment Consulting team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the Equipment team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional Engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of Mechanical Engineering, be flexible, and a strategic thinker capable of handling a variety of tasks.

Please note: This position is located in Anaheim, CA, and applicants must be willing to work from this location.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess damage to various mechanical, industrial, and specialty systems to determine the scope of damage and appropriate corrective actions.
• Assist in economic studies comparing repair versus replacement of equipment.
• Conduct equipment configuration audits.
• Analyze technical specifications to determine suitable replacement equipment.
• Research costs associated with equipment replacement.
• Assist in developing production recovery solutions and plans.
• Prepare technical reports detailing findings and recommendations.
• Travel to site locations for inspections and assessments, participating in meetings. Travel may be 2-3 days per week, sometimes out of state, with larger projects potentially increasing travel duration.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with over 5 years of experience in engineering design, analysis, or applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A desire to learn, excel, and grow professionally.
• Adaptability and self-motivation.

Physical and Mental Job Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel to various project sites.
• Prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
• Ability to walk long distances on industrial sites.
• Must pass a “Fit Test” for respiratory protection.

Salary Range
