Job summary

Olin is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Co-Op for a 6-month program in McIntosh, AL. The role supports maintenance and production with reliability, design, and upkeep of mechanical equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will lead multiple projects, contribute to capital projects, and participate in plant turnarounds while gaining hands-on experience in reliability and maintenance engineering.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Must maintain 3.0+ GPA on a 4.0 scale during the program.
• Must have completed sophomore year (60 credits) before first rotation.
• Eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead at least three hands-on projects during the rotation period.
• Provide reliability leadership for rotating and fixed equipment.
• Support maintenance with preventative and predictive policies.
• Participate in plant turnarounds and contribute to CI initiatives.
