We're looking for a talented Mechanical Engineering Co‑op student who loves designing, building, and flying aerial vehicles to join our team at MORSE Corp. As a co‑op student, you'll work on exciting projects involving aircraft designs, autonomous vehicles, sensor integration, and real‑time embedded software. We need someone who can apply their problem‑solving skills to rapid prototyping and has experience with aerial vehicles, mechatronics, or robotics. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and be able to take ownership of projects from start to finish. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, build, and flight test prototypes of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV)

REQUIREMENTS:

US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a US security clearance

Currently pursuing a BS or BA degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field

Demonstrated experience applying first principles to solve complex problems

Familiarity with SolidWorks, Altium, or other CAD programs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with unmanned aerial systems (fixed wing & VTOL platforms), flight controllers, power systems, sensors, navigation, communications, and R/C‑based solutions

Proven experience with prototyping fabrication techniques such as 3D printing, CNC machining, and laser cutting

Strong understanding of aircraft design, flight mechanics, and aircraft stability and control

MORSE Corp’s pay range for this role carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to, prior experience, education, skills and expertise, location, internal equity, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated.
