Job summary

Seco Tools in Reynoldsville, PA seeks a Mechanical Engineer to improve grinding equipment reliability and manufacturing processes. The role focuses on reducing recurring failures, developing reliable practices, and ensuring high-efficiency production.

The position also supports CNC programming, prepares manufacturing release packages, and helps drive automation and standardization across engineering, maintenance, and shop floor teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in tool manufacturing or similar high-precision environments.
• Proficient with CAD, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, and CMMS.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and reliability principles.
• Experience troubleshooting equipment and RCA preferred.
• Detail-oriented and process-driven.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication.
• Data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• CNC Grinding Programming: create and optimize grinding programs.
• Manufacturing Preparation: produce release packages with CNC programs and drawings.
• Drawings & Documentation: create and maintain manufacturing drawings.
• Production Support: provide hands-on technical support; troubleshoot processes.
• Autonomous Production: help implement standardized, self-sustaining processes.
• Other duties as assigned: assist as needed.
