Job summary

Responsibilities include leading project portions, working with manufacturing on design-for-manufacture improvements, and providing training to engineers as needed. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent education/experience as determined by management.
• Proficient with CAD software (Design & Manufacturing disciplines).
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Defining problems, researching and analyzing criteria to develop solutions and make decisions.
• Lead projects or portions of projects and provide training to engineers.
• Modify existing designs to meet customer requirements and provide product assistance to manufacturing as needed.
• Record daily activities and report results or summaries of tasks.
• Establish and improve product cost targets and evaluate product claims for standard and modified designs.
• Provide sales support and customer requirements interpretation to ensure successful outcomes.
