Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires CAD proficiency (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and drawing interpretation.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma minimum.
• Experience with manufacturing, sheet metal, and welding basics.

Responsibilities

• Design fabricated mechanical parts and system assemblies using CAD software.
• Create 3D models, layout views, full parametric drawings, and DXF files.
• Create complete BOMs for fabrication projects.
• Create 2D wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Use CAM software to generate CNC machine code.
• Verify dimensions of sourced parts.
• Perform simulations of 3D models under specified stresses.
• Quality control during inspection and pre-shipment.
• Adhere to company policies and environmental safety rules.
• Support product development tasks as needed.
• Understand YES’s Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
