Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking an Application Engineer in Georgia to apply sound engineering practices and advise on engine product selection for life cycle and power needs.

You will collaborate with Perkins Engine Co. and internal teams to deliver BOMs, installation drawings, and cost estimates while supporting sales efforts. The role requires drafting electrical schematics, integrating engine systems, and ensuring viable configurations across parts, service, and production departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 5+ years of direct customer contact experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks 3D Software.

Responsibilities

• Create engine specs, BOMs and installation reviews for OEM and Distributor customers.
• Perform calculations and analyses for mechanical and electrical systems for new applications.
• Negotiate and manage engineering improvements for OEM customers.
• Assist Sales in selecting engines and options for new applications.
• Coordinate with sales/engineering to optimize configurations for cost and manufacturability.
