Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of machine design experience (or AA + 5 yrs).
• Experience with AC drive/motor design and servo motor calculations.
• Ability to design, document pneumatic control systems.
• Experience producing technical documentation (manuals, bulletins).
• Experience with equipment and plant layout design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools (Solid Edge/Solid Works/Inventor).
• Proficient with Word and Excel for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Create machine models in 3D software meeting specs and customer needs.
• Assemble complete BOMs for ERP release.
• Ensure designs meet cost targets and performance standards.
• Create drawings/prints for manufacturing components.
• Incorporate feedback from field teams and customers.
• Maintain familiarity with bakery sanitary design standards.
• Utilize design tools to create efficient, accurate designs.
• Conduct cost/margin analysis and apply VAVE concepts to reduce costs.
• Support field issues and provide resolutions.
• Assist assembly team during checkout on active projects.
• Learn business, competitors, and advantages of AMF equipment.
• Visit bakeries for onsite troubleshooting and discussions with operators.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

AA degree + 5 years experience
