Tiberius Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, build and test hardware for aerospace systems. You will translate requirements into mechanical concepts, support prototypes, and use analysis to improve reliability and manufacturability.

The role reports to Shawn Gilmore, involves hands-on work with hardware, and requires collaboration with engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to move from concept to validated hardware in fast development cycles.

Competenze

• Minimum of three years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Experience designing and supporting the build of physical hardware.
• Proficiency with a professional 3D CAD system and production-quality drawings.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and tolerancing.

Mansioni

• Design mechanical components, assemblies, interfaces and supporting hardware for aerospace and defense applications.
• Develop CAD models, drawings and bills of materials.
• Perform calculations and analysis to evaluate designs before hardware is built.
• Select materials and manufacturing processes suitable for performance and production.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.
• Support prototype builds, integration and testing.
• Investigate failures and implement design improvements.
• Maintain design documentation and configuration control.
