Job summary

Tiberius Aerospace in California is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead the planning, execution, and improvement of physical testing for aerospace and defense systems. You will own test planning, setup, instrumentation, data capture, failure analysis, and reporting.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on hardware experience across electrical and mechanical domains, with a focus on reliability and readiness for mission-critical deployments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering.
• Hands-on hardware test experience with physical systems.
• Experience in test planning, data capture, analysis and reporting.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and electrical/mechanical issues.
• Experience supporting design verification and qualification testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for complex electrical, mechanical, and integrated aerospace systems.
• Own the full test lifecycle from planning to corrective action.
• Design test setups, instrumentation plans, and data acquisition approaches.
• Perform functional, environmental, vibration, thermal, and endurance testing.
• Support integration testing with multiple engineering teams.
• Identify and troubleshoot hardware issues and failure modes.
• Collaborate with design engineers to validate requirements and verification methods.
• Lead test readiness and safety reviews and document results.
• Analyze test data and provide technical recommendations to leadership.
• Maintain thorough test documentation and improve test processes.
