Job summary

Tiberius Aerospace is seeking a hands‑on Structural Analysis & Test Engineer to assess structural integrity and environmental survivability of mechanical assemblies and electronic hardware. You will own verification plans, test conditions, and acceptance criteria across static, fatigue, vibration, shock, and thermal environments.

The role requires translating requirements into component loads, running FEA, instrumenting hardware, and correlating results to improve designs. U.S.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or related discipline
• 3+ years of structural analysis and test support experience
• Strong foundation in solid mechanics, structural dynamics, fatigue, vibration, thermal stress
• Proficiency with finite‑element tools (ANSYS/Abaqus/NASTRAN/FEMAP) and hand calculations
• Ability to validate simulations with simple models and practical judgment

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain load flowdowns from system requirements to subsystems and components
• Define load cases, boundary conditions, and verification approaches
• Perform static structural analysis of metallic structures and assemblies using hand calculations and FEA
• Develop, execute, and maintain FEA models and interpret results
• Assess high‑cycle fatigue life for metallic components and electronics hardware
• Support test planning, instrumentation, and data‑acquisition for verification
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, and Manufacturing teams throughout development lifecycle
• Prepare technical reports, verification evidence, and milestone materials
