Crystal Group, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Advanced Program Pursuits to support early-stage concepts and rapid design efforts for customer opportunities.

The role designs, analyzes, and verifies mechanical components and assemblies, including sheet-metal and machined parts, integrating mechanical and electrical systems. You will collaborate with Systems, Electrical, Sales, and Manufacturing teams to assess feasibility and develop solutions that meet evolving customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires US Person (US citizen, permanent resident, or protected status).
• Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering or related field required or 10+ years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with sheet-metal and machined-metal components is essential.
• Ability to translate customer needs into practical mechanical designs.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into viable mechanical designs and solutions.
• Develop concepts, models, drawings, and assemblies for sheet-metal and machined components.
• Research, evaluate, and select mechanical systems, materials, and processes for new concepts.
• Review mechanical drawings to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
• Provide technical assistance for building and testing of new products and rapid prototyping.
