The role designs, analyzes, and verifies mechanical components and assemblies, including sheet-metal and machined parts, integrating mechanical and electrical systems. You will collaborate with Systems, Electrical, Sales, and Manufacturing teams to assess feasibility and develop solutions that meet evolving customer requirements.

The Mechanical Engineer – Advanced Program Pursuits will support Crystal Group's Advanced Program Pursuits team in developing innovative mechanical solutions for new and emerging customer opportunities. This position is responsible for the design, development, analysis, and verification of mechanical components and assemblies, including sheet-metal and machined-metal parts, while applying mechanical engineering principles to integrate mechanical and electrical components into complete systems. Working within the Advanced Program Pursuits team, this role will support early-stage concepts, customer-driven requirements, rapid design efforts, prototypes, and technical evaluations. The Mechanical Engineer will collaborate closely with Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to assess technical feasibility and develop solutions that meet unique and evolving customer requirements.
Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a "protected person") Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering or related field required or at least 10+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience in lieu of a degree
Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Occasional exposure to manufacturing floor and testing environments. May require lifting up to 25 lbs, standing for extended periods during product testing.
