Qualifications

• EIT certification is required.
• PE license is preferred.
• BSME or Architectural Engineering with mechanical/energy/sustainability emphasis.
• ASHRAE membership and involvement preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience with Revit MEP preferred.
• Experience in building systems design and/or construction preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Proactive, collaborative team player.

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (4+ years)who wishes to gain alternative energy experience for a variety of projects, learn how to develop new business relationships, and work in a professional fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be an outgoing, enthusiastic self-starter, with a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team and be willing to have fun!

Preferred Project / Technology Exposure

• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS)
• Advanced manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred)

• ASHRAE membership and involvement (preferred)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
• Experience with Revit MEP (preferred)Experience in building systems design and/or construction (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary range: $80,000-$93,000
