Job summary

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Spokane team. The candidate will work on alternative energy projects, growing technical knowledge and client relationships while collaborating with a multidiscipline team.

You will contribute to design efforts, proposals, and mature project management skills in a fast-paced environment. PE preferred; energy focus in mechanical engineering required; Revit MEP and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• BSME or Architectural Engineering with a mechanical/energy/sustainability emphasis preferred.
• ASHRAE membership and PMP certification preferred.
• Experience with Revit MEP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble proposals to win work.
• Lead multi-discipline engineering teams through design milestones.
• Respond to client and vendor questions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (4+ years)who wishes to gain alternative energy experience for a variety of projects, learn how to develop new business relationships, and work in a professional fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be an outgoing, enthusiastic self-starter, with a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team and be willing to have fun!

Qualifications

Preferred Project / Technology Exposure

• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS)
• Advanced manufacturing

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or B.S. in Architectural Engineering with a mechanical/energy/sustainability emphasis
• ASHRAE membership and involvement (preferred)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
• Experience with Revit MEP (preferred)
• Experience in building systems design and/or construction (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Proactive, collaborative team player

Salary range: $80,000-$93,000
