Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, test, and integrate mechanical and electromechanical systems for a leading aerospace and defense organization. You will research customer requirements, develop engineering solutions, and support fabrication and testing activities to drive product improvements throughout the system lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical design experience, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to collaborate across engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience designing mechanical or electromechanical systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting product development and testing activities.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance.
• Aerospace & Defense industry experience is a plus.
• Experience with thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems.
• Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100 quality standards.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen experience.
• Experience with CAD, engineering analysis software, or ERP systems.
• Experience integrating hardware and software systems.
