Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking a hands-on prototype engineer to assist multiple project teams in design, build, and test phases of electrified machines and systems.

You will operate prototyping equipment and collaborate with partner engineers to develop best practices for rapid prototyping and manufacturing. A strong background in CAD/CAM and fabrication is required, with visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in relevant tech areas.
• Prefer ME, EE, Software Controls, Industrial Eng.
• Open to 2-year degree with 9+ years experience in applicable tech.
• Master’s degree requires 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support partner engineering teams with rapid design, analysis, and prototype manufacturing of electrified machines and systems.
• Operate and maintain prototyping machinery including 3D printers, CNC cutting/milling/welding, and electrical cable/harness fabrication.

Job Description/Typical Task Breakdown

• Aligned with 1 to 3 concurrent prototype project teams assisting with design, build, or test phases.
• Troubleshooting equipment, tracking prototype inventory, and providing logistics support.
• Enable prototype delivery for high-velocity and high-priority projects while working safely and efficiently.
• Engage with partner team engineers to develop best practices for prototype designs and manufacturing.
