Job summary

Cintal, Inc. in East Peoria, IL is seeking an entry- to mid-level Mechanical Engineer to assist with design tasks using Creo, create 3D models, and contribute to part development. This role emphasizes hands-on design work and practical problem solving in a manufacturing setting.

Qualified candidates will have Creo experience, ability to read drawings, and knowledge of FEA, with potential for growth into more responsibilities and leadership. Visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in mechanical design.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering – Manufacturing or Automotive focus.
• No 2-year degrees; a Master’s degree requires 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Engineer by completing design tasks.
• Potential for additional responsibility depending on experience and demonstrated success in the role.
• The worker will be performing entry-level duties and should have a genuine interest in this aspect of the role.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Creo 3D modeling (and specifically Creo, not another modeling software)
• Reading technical drawings & prints
• Mechanical design experience
• Proficient in Creo Simulate FEA
• Experience in steel or iron casting design
• APQP knowledge
• Practical / hands-on experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
