Job Description

Our client near Sheffield is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work a Panama shift pattern. The company has invested significantly in new buildings, plant, and equipment over the past few years and continues to do so.

This role involves working a 12-hour Panama shift pattern, including days and nights.

Salary: £48,000 - £53,000 plus bonus

The Person:

• Time-served engineer with a mechanical bias
• Apprentice trained, NVQ Level 3
• Willing to work with pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes, and other heavy manufacturing machinery

The Role:

• Providing reactive and preventive maintenance
• Machine breakdown repairs
• Working with sensors, drives, relays, inverters
• Maintaining conveyors, bearings, belts, chains
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site
