Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer for an on-site Tulsa role focused on designing and prototyping advanced repair technologies. Candidate will move concepts from idea to production, integrating electrical and mechanical components to meet stringent quality and cost targets.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions across design, manufacturing, and new product development, with hands-on ownership of projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical design and product development experience.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks, GD&T, and rapid prototyping.
  • Experience with design for manufacturability, process improvement, and root-cause problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new repair solutions from concept through production.
  • Reverse-engineer products and create scalable, manufacturable repair methods.
  • Design components, tooling, fixtures, and assemblies using SolidWorks and rapid prototyping technologies.
  • Improve existing products and processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost performance.
  • Support complex mechanical and electrical assemblies, including PCBs, cables, connectors, and precision components.
  • Lead continuous improvement, DOE, and Lean initiatives.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, technicians, and suppliers to implement innovative solutions.

What You'll Do
  • Design and develop new repair solutions from concept through production.
  • Reverse-engineer products and create scalable, manufacturable repair methods.
  • Design components, tooling, fixtures, and assemblies using SolidWorks and rapid prototyping technologies.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
