Job summary

H2Engineering, Inc. in Tallahassee, FL invites a Mechanical Engineer to join our design team. You will contribute to commercial MEP design, prepare construction documents, and coordinate building mechanical systems with plumbing and electrical trades.

Proficiency in Revit is required, and you will work on projects over $5 million in construction value. We seek a quick study with strong analytical and communication skills, capable of delivering clear reports and drawings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience designing and developing projects from concept to completion.
• Mechanical engineer with experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design for commercial construction.
• Experience in designing projects over $5 million construction cost.
• Must be able to prepare deliverables including calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Detailed knowledge of general building construction and mechanical systems.
• Excellent analytical and technical skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
• LEED BD+C and CxA certification is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• The Mechanical Engineer will have experience in commercial MEP design including preparing construction documents.
• Must understand building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems coordination.
• Responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems.
• The ideal candidate would perform design evaluations and be familiar with concepts, practices, and procedures.
