Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience in building design.
  • Experience with HVAC design and building mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency with Revit and/or AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of applicable building codes and industry standards.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • EIT certification preferred; PE track encouraged.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical building systems for commercial, institutional, and other complex facilities.
  • Prepare calculations, reports, technical specifications, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, owners, and contractors throughout project delivery.
  • Perform HVAC system design and analysis.
  • Support project teams through design, construction administration, and client coordination.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary project teams to deliver innovative engineering solutions.
