Job summary

A consulting engineering firm is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer. This remote position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design. The engineer will address a variety of mechanical system challenges while collaborating across multiple project teams. The Mechanical Engineer will participate in the production, design, and construction phases of the project on a diverse range of building types. Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing projects from concept to completion
• Mechanical engineer with experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design for commercial construction, including preparing construction documents, engineering reports, and conducting field investigations
• Experience in designing projects valued over $5 million in construction cost
• Must be able to prepare deliverables, including calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications
• Detailed knowledge of general building construction and mechanical systems is essential
• Excellent analytical and technical skills
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
• LEED BD+C and CxA certification is a bonus
