About Us:

CEMS, a multi-discipline Architecture and Engineering firm that serves Federal, Municipal, and Private clients in the Carolinas and throughout the East Coast, seeks to continue our sustained growth in our Summerville, SC office.

Position:

CEMS Engineering, Inc. is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer with MEP experience. The engineer should have experience in the design and layout of building HVAC and/or mechanical systems. The individual will be responsible for serving as the senior technical engineer working on a wide variety of complex steam, chilled water, and large air handling systems for complex building facility projects. Candidates should have a sound technical foundation and strong communication skills. The engineer should have the ability to work independently and take initiative. Individuals need not be local.

Job Location:

This position is located in our Summerville, SC office, which is 20 minutes from downtown Charleston.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. BS in Mechanical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.
2. 5+ years of experience.
3. Licensed Professional Engineer.
4. Prior experience working as a mechanical MEP engineer on building or facilities projects.
5. Strong communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

DoD experience is considered a plus. Experience in Revit MEP is also a plus.
