You’ll review equipment and system designs, coordinate with suppliers and contractors, and support the site team in resolving technical issues throughout delivery.
Review mechanical drawings, equipment datasheets and technical specifications.
Check supplier submissions against project requirements.
Assess design changes and respond to field engineering queries.
Review equipment layouts and system designs for practical operation and maintenance.
Support technical coordination across major equipment and plant auxiliary systems.
Track engineering deliverables against project deadlines.
Verify equipment storage and preservation requirements meet manufacturer guidance.
At least 10 years of mechanical engineering experience within power or process plants.
Practical experience with rotating equipment and plant auxiliary systems.
Working knowledge of applicable ASME codes and API standards.
Confidence reviewing technical documentation and working with construction teams.
A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Previous owner-side engineering experience, professional engineering registration and familiarity with digital engineering documentation tools would be advantageous.
