Surface Optics Corporation in San Diego, CA, seeks a Lead Mechanical Engineer to drive the design of complex spectral imaging systems, including sensor-to-opto interfaces, enclosures, tooling, and support hardware.

You will specify materials and fabrication methods, ensure product quality and regulatory compliance, and manage suppliers and project costs while supporting demonstrations, proposals, and cross-functional engineering work.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• At least four years of experience
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, thermal analysis and management, design for manufacturing, optomechanics, and instrumentation
