United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design for hydro power projects, including tunnels, caverns, and BOP systems. You will coordinate with civil, architectural, and construction teams, interface with OEMs, and support commissioning and owner operations.
Ideal candidates have a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 6+ years in MEP for large power projects and a strong CAD background. Travel and office presence may be required in the USA.

We are building high performing teams to deliver complex EPC heavy civil project and looking for motivated, hands‑on, collaborative innovators, doers, and problem solvers. The projects are hydro power generation with scopes including roadway development, significant structures including dams, spillways, tunnel waterways, inlet/outlet structures, hydromechanical equipment, mechanical and electrical systems, and site facilities and buildings. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the engineering, coordination, and technical oversight of the mechanical scope of the project.
The role supports EPC execution through design development, interface management, constructability, and construction/commissioning support for large hydro facilities comprising underground powerhouse, shafts, tunnels, intake/outlet works, and surface facilities, in accordance with customer requirements, applicable codes, and the company engineering procedures.
A key part of this role is collaboration with multiple stakeholders. The Mechanical Engineer shall work with the team to establish regular meetings with design consultant and other external stakeholders as required and reporting cycles for managing, coordinating, and assuring the design.
