Job summary

Futures Consulting, LLC in New York is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing team dedicated to MEP consulting for large-scale projects. You will design HVAC systems, coordinate with architects and engineers, and develop construction documents using Revit and BIM.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering, 3+ years of MEP experience, and strong BIM and code knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of MEP consulting experience.
• Proficiency with Revit, TRACE/TRACE 3D, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of building codes and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems for commercial and institutional buildings.
• Perform equipment selection, ductwork, and hydronic piping design.
• Develop construction documents using Revit and BIM.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing teams.
